EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS
Thank you for considering supporting Young Artists of America. We invite you to scroll down to learn more about how you can support our extraordinary programming and educational initiatives.
Young Artists of America is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
It is only through the generosity of people like you that Young Artists of America at Strathmore is able to continue its high quality artistic programming, provide unique educational experiences for our students, attract the highest caliber of mentors possible for our students, and provide tuition assistance to students who would not otherwise be able to participate.
We hope you will consider becoming a Supporting Member of Young Artists of America at Strathmore.
“I DREAMED A DREAM”CAMPAIGN
Help make dreams come true!
Young Artists of America at Strathmore “dreams a dream” of a time when all students— no matter their socioeconomic background— have the chance to take the stage.
Thanks to our community’s generous support, so far YAA has been able to give training and performance opportunities to scores of students each year.
Most recently, these opportunities have been filled with exciting successes including our Emmy-winning Young Artists of America Sings the Songs of Tim Rice television special with Maryland Public Television, and our acclaimed production of Ragtime in Concert, featuring a diverse cast of more than 250 students.
And yet we recognize how many talented students are not able to access the artistry, excellence, and mentorship of YAA’s programs. This is where you come in.
In honor of our upcoming production of Les Miserables, we are asking you to join our “I Dreamed a Dream” annual fundraising campaign. We have set an ambitious goal to raise $40,000 by the end of 2018.
“I Dreamed a Dream” Supporting Memberships are tax-deductible. As a bonus, three angel donors have generously offered to match each individual donation up to a total of $20,000. So for every $1 that you donate, YAA receives $2!
Your donation will go directly to support YAA's Tuition Assistance Fund, so even students with limited financial means can take classes, attend our Summer Performing Arts Intensives, and take part in our performing companies.
YAA is an independent, non-profit organization with a limited budget that doesn’t always correspond with the big dreams we have for our talented students. Your donation, no matter the size, can help us make a student’s dream a reality!

Donating appreciated securities such as stocks or mutual funds is a smart and easy way to support Young Artists of America. Just as with cash gifts, you will receive a federal income tax donation for the full market value of any securities you donate as long as you have owned them for at least one year. You may also avoid the capital gains taxes you would owe if you sold these securities.
There are many different ways to plan your gift to our organization, many of which can save you taxes now, reduce the tax burden on your estate, provide lifetime income to you (or another), and provide a generous ultimate gift to Young Artists of America.
For more information on planned giving opportunities or gifts of stock, please contact Executive Director, Lisa Larragoite at (301) 272-8604, x700.
