This year, Young Artists of America is proud to be offering a slew of once-in-a-lifetime experiences in our Raffle and Silent Auction surrounding fundraising for our Winter Production of The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice in Concert

How Does This Work?

Raffle Tickets are limited. Tickets will be sold online through 11:59pm March 11, 2016, and then in person at Strathmore Music Center from 4:00pm through intermission of aforementioned performance on March 12, 2017.

The Silent Auction will open at 4pm, one hour before curtain of The Circle of Life, during intermission, and close 30 minutes after the performance ends.

We will draw two winning entries at the close of YAA's March 12, 2017, performance of The Circle of Life at the Music Center at Strathmore. Each winner will receive the above described package and may select their own date, subject to availability. You need not be present to win. We will only sell 250 tickets for each package. Chances of winning for each entry are 1 in 250. Face Value is $1800. Real value is priceless. Winners receive email notification. Your name will be entered into raffle once for every ticket purchased. Tickets will be sold online through 11:59pm March 11, 2016. And then in person at Music Center at Strathmore, from 4:00pm through the end of intermission of aforementioned performance on March 12, 2017.


access to the TV Taping

Win four tickets to the CLOSED taping of The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice in Concert at Maryland Public Television's studios in Owings Mills, Maryland, from 10am-5pm on March 18, 2017. We will not sell tickets to the taping outside of this raffle. 

Drawing to take place and be announced at end of YAA's The Circle of Life at the Music Center at Strathmore on March 12, 2017. You need not be present to win. Winner will also get email notification. Face value: $100. Real value: Priceless. Your name will be entered into raffle once for each ticket purchased. Tickets will be sold online through 11:59pm March 11, 2016. And then in person at the Music Center at Strathmore from 5:00pm through intermission of aforementioned performance on March 12, 2017.


silent auction ITEMS

The Silent Auction will take place at The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice on March 12, 2017, in the lobby of the Music Center at Strathmore. Bidding will commence at 4:00pm (1 hour before curtain) and close 30 minutes after the performance ends. Winning bidders will be notified by email within 48 hours.

YAA's Founders will share their heritage and culinary talents with you and your special guests. The Sanz Brothers will cook and serve an elegant and authentic multi-course Cuban meal for up to eight people, either in Rolando's home, or in your own.  Meal is all inclusive with drinks, appetizers and dessert. The dinner will take place on a mutually convenient date over the next year. (Value - $800; Minimum Bid - $300)

Private Recital with Rolando sanz & virginia lum

PRIVATE and EXCLUSIVE concert in your home by YAA Producing Artistic Director and Metropolitan Opera tenor, Rolando Sanz and YAA Board Member and Juilliard pianist, Virginia Lum.  An evening of Opera, Classical, Broadway and piano virtuosity tailored to your taste and audience. You merely provide the lovely venue, tuned grand piano, and audience, and they provide the MAGIC! Mutually agreed upon date to take place before 9/17.  (Value - $3,000,; Minimum Bid- $500.)
