Train for one or two weeks with the region’s top performing arts faculty in a rigorous and inspirational environment at the top musical theatre summer programs in the Maryland and DC area!

Choose either our daytime Academy, overnight Conservatory, or daytime Audition Intensive Workshop to learn technique, increase confidence, and grow as a performing artist during this unforgettable summer camp experience. 

Whether you're interested in Acting, Dance, Voice, Instrumental Music -- or some combination of these disciplines-- YAA’s Summer Intensives for middle school and high school students (plus, college freshmen) can be tailored to your interests. 

Location:  The 140-acre campus at Sandy Spring Friends School in Montgomery County, MD. School bus service available.

THE ACADEMY is our Daytime summer music theatre program that focuses on the artistic process to educate aspiring young performers of all levels in Acting, Dance, Voice, and Instrumental Music, with a final performance of Pasek & Paul's Edges. It's a summer camp experience unlike any other!

July 14 - 27, 2018

Junior Academy is open to rising 5th-8th graders.
Senior Academy is open to rising 9th graders through college freshman.

THE CONSERVATORY is our Overnight music theatre program that focuses on artistic process PLUS applied training, culminating in a full production of Jason Robert Brown's Parade. It's an overnight summer camp experience that creates memories and teaches lessons that will last a lifetime!
