Ways to Give

Why Give

Named “One of the Best Nonprofits” by the Catalogue for Philanthropy and featured in Bethesda Magazine’s Giving Guide year after year, Young Artists of America® is recognized as one of the DC metro area’s favorite nonprofits.

Why give to YAA? Student tuition and ticket sales cover only a portion of what it takes to sustain our programs. Young Artists of America relies on the generosity of individual donors, foundation partners, and public support to keep our programs accessible and thriving. Your gift also helps provide tuition assistance to students of all backgrounds—ensuring that every young artist has a brave space to take risks, grow their skills, and imagine the world through their own unique artistry.

Donate Stocks

Donating appreciated stocks or mutual funds is a smart and tax-efficient way to support YAA. Like cash gifts, you may receive a federal income tax deduction for their full market value and avoid capital gains taxes. Consult your accounting or financial professional to determine the giving strategy that’s best for you.

In order to complete a donation of securities, you’ll need to:

1) Contact your broker to transfer your shares to YAA’s account at Raymond James & Associates. You’ll need the following information to complete the transfer:
