Ways to Give
Why Give
Named “One of the Best Nonprofits” by the Catalogue for Philanthropy and featured in Bethesda Magazine’s Giving Guide year after year, Young Artists of America® is recognized as one of the DC metro area’s favorite nonprofits.
Why give to YAA? Student tuition and ticket sales cover only a portion of what it takes to sustain our programs. Young Artists of America relies on the generosity of individual donors, foundation partners, and public support to keep our programs accessible and thriving. Your gift also helps provide tuition assistance to students of all backgrounds—ensuring that every young artist has a brave space to take risks, grow their skills, and imagine the world through their own unique artistry.
Your support brings YAA’s vision to life!

Sponsor a Show: YAA is the only youth training program in the nation that produces large-scale theatrical productions with a full symphony orchestra in major professional venues. By underwriting a production, you help make these extraordinary experiences possible for our young artists. Sponsorships include tailored recognition that highlights your support in a way that best fits your company or personal giving goals.
Become a Monthly Donor: Your ongoing support provides a steady stream of resources that ensures YAA can continue training and nurturing our inclusive community of young artists. Select “Monthly” to start a recurring monthly gift.
Support YAA as a Corporate Partner: Partner with YAA to advance transformative arts education and showcase your company’s commitment to young artists. Corporate partnerships provide critical funding for programs, performances, and scholarships, while offering customized recognition and visibility opportunities.
Designate a Planned Gift: Leave a legacy with YAA! By including us in your estate or long-term giving plans, you help shape the future of arts education—nurturning creativity and excellence for generations to come. We encourage you to consult your financial or estate planning professional, and reach out to our team when you’re ready to explore the meaningful impact your gift can make.
Donate Stocks: Donating appreciated stocks or mutual funds is a smart and tax-efficient way to support YAA. Like cash gifts, you may receive a federal income tax deduction for their full market value and avoid capital gains taxes. Consult your accounting or financial professional to determine the giving strategy that’s best for you.
Give Through Your IRA: If you’re 70 ½ or older, you can use your IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) to make a difference for YAA. Your tax-savvy gift counts toward your RMD, reduces taxable income, and helps our young artist community thrive.
If you have questions or need assistance making a gift, please contact Lisa Larragoite, Executive Director at (301) 272-8604, x700.
